Experience the power of women’s voices through music and poetry. Join us this Women's History Month to celebrate the contributions of women to the world of music. Our audience will hear the voices of women composers through their melodies, harmonies, and rhythms. Also our recital includes art songs based on lyrics by female poets, past and present. The program will feature a selection of works by Fanny Mendelssohn, Clara Schumann, Cécile Chaminade, Pauline Viardot, Vítězslava Kaprálová, Amy Marcy Beach, Bohdana Frolyak, and Hanna Havrylets.
